Remember...

Today marks five years since the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers and The Pentagon. Let's all take time today to pray for those families who lost loved ones and ask God for continued guidance over our country and President Bush.

And pray for our enemies...

Do you remember where you were and what you were doing the day this happened???

I was at 402 getting ready to head over to Lipscomb and was watching the "Today Show" on tv. I remember watching the second plane hit the towers and thinking "What new movie is this?" only to find out shortly thereafter that this was no movie at all! I remember dropping to my knees and crying out to God because I was so scared. I then called Mom to tell her to turn on the tv because the US was being attacked.

I was sitting in the computer lab at Belmont during a break from class. Someone came in and said a plane had hit the World Trade Center. Everyone in the building that day went into the ortho room to watch the coverage on TV. We were watching and thinking it was some accident until we saw the 2nd plane crash into the building. Dr. Halle, I think, announced that classes were cancelled for the rest of the day. The world really did change after that day.
