My visit to Russellville

It's been one week since I have gone to the big city of Russellville, AL to visit my friends that I made while there on clinical. So far, Russellville Hospital has been my favorite clinical while in PT school. The only other clinicals I have to compare it with are the one day-a-week clinicals that I had during my semesters of classes. In a few weeks I will start the first of my final 3 long-term clinical affiliations, and let me just tell you, Russellville has raised the bar for these last 3. I loved the people that I worked with so much!!! I only hope that my remaining clinicals will be as enjoyable. But if they are all really great clinicals, then I'll have a tough decision as to where I want to work when I graduate in August.
While visiting my former co-workers at Russellville I was told how much that I was missed and that I should work there when I finish school. I wouldn't hesitate to work with those individuals and the pay would be a lot more than if I worked in Nashville. But there's just one thing that makes me hesitate... It's not Nashville!
I have lived in Nashville for 8 years now and I love the atmosphere of a big city. The Titans are here, the Predators are here, and this is Music City for goodness sakes! Also, my favorite collegiate team is located in the heart of downtown Nashville: Vanderbilt Commodores. I've enjoyed getting to go to their basketball games and football games (really enjoyed this year. Go Dores! We beat UT!!!) I've also got family here. My brother and sister both live in Nashville with their spouses AND my nephew is here.
But I also feel like I'm stuck in a rut in Nashville and am somewhat excited about the possibility of moving to a new place and meeting new people. I've promised an interview at Russellville and I'll just have to let God decide if I need to be there. I would live in Florence, which is a much bigger city, and commute to the hospital. But my parents live there, and that would be a drastic change for me. I love my parents, but I have been away from home for 8 years now, and it would be a big adjustment for me to live in the same city as them again. Oh well, I still have up to 8 months to decide (or longer).
