Camden's Buddy - "Ay-La"

For the last couple of months, Camden and Alan have gotten to be really good buddies. I think it all started when Alan was "wrestling" with Camden on Nana and Papa's couch. I hadn't heard Camden laugh that much in a long time. He was so red in the face, but he kept wanting to wrestle with Alan. Since then, whenever Camden sees me he immediately looks behind me to see if Alan is with me. Sometimes he'll come up to me, give me a quick hug, then point behind me and say "Ay-La". I now know who is more important to Camden... Not his Aunt Dinah, but her boyfriend, Alan. It's really cute to see him run up to Alan with a big smile on his face and reach up for him to sit in Alan's lap. The above picture is typical with the two of them. Usually, Camden will sit in Alan's lap and suck his thumb as if he's in the most comfortable place in the world. I think Nana is a little jealous... no worries. Grandchild # 2 will be here soon and will need Nana to help take care of him or her.
