We might have a routine going!

Since I have returned to work on Thursday, Will has begun a daily routine. My mom, aka Nana, kept Will my first day back. When I picked him up that afternoon, she told me that he took a 1 and 1/2 hour nap that morning and then a 2 and 1/2 hour nap that afternoon! He did the opposite on Friday with Mimi, my mother-in-law. These pictures below are from his 1 and 1/2 hour nap this morning! He also is sleeping from 8:30-5:30 at night! I really think that there's something to be said about "maternity leave" being for the baby to adjust as well. It seems that God decided for Will to begin his napping/sleeping through the night "routine" just in time for Mommy to return to work. It has (so far) been a BIG help for me to be able to sleep at night because hospital Physical Therapy requires me to be fully rested and ready to "exercise."

This first picture gives you a good view of his "horseshoe" hair pattern on the base of his skull. He has FINALLY started growing some hair on the top of his head, but the horseshoe pattern is still VERY prominent.

I just love this little guy!

Thanks for checking in...

Natalie was on a pretty good schedule, but when I went back to work it was like a switch flipped & she is SO into her routine now! Couldn't have come at a better time! :)

We have that same play mat. Cady loved it! So glad that your transition back to work is going well and that Will is sleeping so well. What a blessing! I remember thinking about 6 weeks, "okay, I can survive this" and then at 12 weeks actually believing life might be semi-normal at some point in the future :-)
