Conversation I had with my fellow PT co-worker today:
co-worker: "A Dr. just called me and asked me about BPPV and how to treat it. Do you know?
me: "Well, it's when the small crystals in the Otilith organ of the inner ear become dislodged, causing vertigo symptoms that should last up to 1 minute. It's treated with the Halpike (sp?) maneuver, but I don't know how to do that."
co-worker: "I'll just look up some information on the internet and send it to the MD"
When she looked it up it said exactly what I told her.

Somehow I was able to pull that out of the dark recesses of my brain. Thank you Dr. Halle (my neuroscience professor in PT school!)
