Alan has a job!!! He has been looking for a job ever since before we got engaged, and he got a call this week with a job offer. He will now be a Ford employee in Florence, AL. It's funny how God works. We have been praying so much for Alan to be able to find a job, and I must admit that I was beginning to get a little frustrated. My prayers lately had been for a sense of peace about God's timing in this situation. It just so happened that Alan got his job AFTER we closed on our house. Better yet, THE DAY AFTER we closed. HIS timing is perfect! The bank giving us our loan would have frowned on the job change, and probably made the process of giving us a loan a little bit longer.
Just another reminder that my plans for me are not always in line with God's plans for me. And for some reason, He needs to remind me of that. :)
Alan's degree is in Human Resources and he has been unable to get a job in this field because all hiring companies want at least 1 year of experience. He's just trying to get his foot in the door. His new job is not an HR job, but maybe God has a plan to get him there. We'll just have to see...

Congrats to Alan! And hey, I know how you feel about finally succumbing to God's plan! :-)
Hip hip hooray! I'm so glad for you both. Sorry I missed your message the other day. It's been kind of a crazy week.
Love you!
YAY for gainful employment! Chad and I definitely understand that stress. He's applying for some jobs right now too.
