Split Personality?

I sometimes think Alan has a split personality. Normally, he is a down to earth country boy who treats me like a lady. He always opens doors for me, buys me little gifts, takes me on outdoor excursions, drives me all over Florence on the weekends, watches "girly movies" with me, and will often cook for me. I'm very lucky to have him with me. Plus, he's very handsome (As you can see in the above picture.) These three pictures were taken only a few hours apart. For Easter, he wore his suit to church with a lovely red tie. If you look closely, you will see several different kinds of canines on his tie. Not one that I would have chosen to go with the fancy pinstripe suit. The bottom pictures are proof that he quite possibly could have an alter ego. Not only was today Easter, it was his birthday as well. We had lunch with his family and several pictures were taken. I've learned over the past several months that Alan likes to ruin pictures with a silly facial expression. After looking at all of the ones taken today, there isn't a single picture where he is acting normal. It's very difficult for anyone to get a decent picture of him. Here's proof:

In my defense, the last picture was taken without my knowledge. That's why it looks as if I'm high on something. Alan, however, knew the picture was being taken. That's why it looks like he's high on something...

Great pictures! At least you don't have to worry about having a bunch of pictures where everyone looks uptight or anything and there's a surprise waiting for you when you check your pictures. Nice.

Too funny! Chad does that kind of thing. He also likes to make up silly songs. Does Alan make up silly songs too? If so, they may have been parted at birth or something :-)

In other news, I was doing some research on Billy Graham the other day for my advisor and realized that "the nation's evangelist" shares your birthday!

Are you a country songwriter now? Seriously, this sounds like a line from a bad country song...

Happy Belated Birthday to Alan! Love the dog tie...
