My Dores have not started this season quite like I wanted, but just as I expected. However, i did not expect them to play so close during their first two SEC games. They have lost their last 2 games by a total of 5 points. Alabama (13-10) and Arkansas (21-19). Both of those games could have easily been a Vanderbilt win, but the Dores decided to let their opponents take the games...
It's times like these that make it somewhat difficult to be a Vandy fan, but I wouldn't leave them for anything! I like going against the grain, and a Vanderbilt fan living in the state of Alabama is definitely going against the grain. Here you have to be either an Alabama or Auburn fan. Since I'm living in north Alabama, I see a lot more Alabama fans. So, I'm going to have to cheer for Auburn over Alabama this season because up here that would be going against the grain...
But they are second to Vandy. I know Granddaddy would be proud!

Whoa -- where'd the pink go?? :)
I thought you would appreciate the fact that while watching the saturday game scores while eating dinner at Firehouse Subs, channel 8 reported that it was in fact Vanderbilt that won 21 - 19... and not just the score typed in accidently... the reporter actually said "and Vanderbilt won this afternoon, but not by much as their victory over the Razorbacks was only by two points".. to which Brett and laughed hysterically (although we tend to do that often watching the news here in Monty...)
