My New NFL Team

Many of you know that I am and have always been a huge Vanderbilt fan. Don't ask me why. All I can say is that it's in my blood, literally. For several generations, us Piggs have been Vandy fans. Michael has not followed the tradition completely. He cheers for Vandy, but his favorite team is Auburn. I guess that's because he was born and raised in Montgomery, which is only 45 minutes from Auburn's campus.

If anyone asks me which sport(s) I like, my answer has always been "College football, basketball, baseball, and softball." I've never been one to enjoy watching a professional sport (except for the Bulls during the Jordan, Pippen, Cartwright, Paxon, Grant days.) But since a certain Vanderbilt football player has been drafted to the NFL and has a really good shot at being successful in the pros, I've decided to start watching NFL football. I realize that I probably won't get to watch a ton of his games because he will be playing for the Denver Broncos. There won't be a lot of his games shown in AL, but I plan to keep track of his professional career. And his coaches and teammates seem to think he's gonna do well in his rookie season. If anyone can survive 4 years of SEC beatings playing on Vandy's football team, they can survive beatings from huge NFL football players. Cutler has a little more protection on offense now...

Sorry Titans... I'll still root for you this season, but my loyalty is now with the Broncos. And I will remain a Broncos fan until Cutler leaves.

Oh, and on September 2 Vanderbilt will open its season on ESPN, but I really don't think they'll win. Click on the link and you'll see why...

Dinsers - Maybe you can help me change my blog over to beta when we're down there next week. I'd much rather try it on mom and dad's high speed internet. now, quit blogging and go study! :)

Oh and I liked that article about Jay. Remind me to tell you what I heard Floyd Reese say yesterday about comparing Vince and Jay.

Sara - I'll have you know that I've been averaging 4-6 hours of studying a day since Wednesday and have read through 5 chapters in my book. Also, i've taken half of a practice exam and averaged 70% on it. I plan to finish the exam this afternoon or evening and see how I've done the second time around. I know you are just kidding about studying. I just gotta have some down time!

Did he say Jay was better than Vince? Cause that's what I think after watching the Broncos/Titans game last week. Denver has another game tomorrow night at 8 pm, but I don't know if it's going to be on tv...

Dinah - I do have a google account now...it's working today when I comment w/username and password from old blog account not from google account. Yet, I can't make changes to my own blog unless I sign on with goodle username/password. Does that sound right?
Did you add the things underneath Camden's picture with the beta blogger? Btw, that's a cute picture of Camden!
