Another Loss...

So my co-ed softball team played another double header last night at West Park, a.k.a. "The Hood". The other team had only 9 of the needed 10 players and we still lost both games! I pitched the first game and half of the second game because I asked to be put on the bench. I try so hard to place pitches to that batters will hit pop-ups and that they will hit to certain areas on the field. I felt that I was doing OK with that and making batters pop-up several times. BUT... no one on my team could catch an easy fly ball last night... I don't know what happened to us. Those of you who know me well know that I am a very competitive person when it comes to sports. I lost my cool and yelled at two of our outifelders who stood and watched a pop fly drop on the ground in between them. Luckily, they didn't hear me. After that inning (during the second game), I asked to sit out the rest of the game so as not to get more frustrated and lose my cool.

I've apologized to the ones that I yelled at, and i'm not proud of the way I act when I get frustrated in a softball game.

One of the guys on my team sent out an e-mail stating that we have finished playing the top four teams in the league. AND that there are two other teams with an 0-8 record and a team that is 2-6. We just might win one or two games!

"So you're saying there's a chance"
